Condolence & Memory Journal

I know him through my wife. His second wife, June Demmer-Hawkins. She was my wife's grandmother.

He was always so kind and friendly. He and I talked non-stop about politics.

I don't know for sure, but I believe strongly that J.D. died "In-Christ" meaning he died forgiven of his sins because be acknowledged and believed in Jesus Christ, who died for us all, for our sins. John 3:16-17

Dear Deloris and family,
My deepest heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I will join you in a private rosary of my own, in the hopes that your father is now in heaven singing praises with the Angels and Saints.

Looking thru the paper today, I was sad to see that James had passed away. James and I worked together at TxDOT for many years. I had not seen him since 1993 when I retired, but was so blessed to spend time with him on Thanksgiving a year ago. We had such a long and nice visit remembering our shared experiences at TxDOT. My prayers and thoughts go out to his family and friends.
